S.H. Figuarts Super Mario Casual Review

Hello, today we'll be taking a casual look at the S.H. Figuarts Super Mario from Bandai.
Super Mario has always been a favorite for me so when I heard he got a figure I immediately
got him pre-ordered on day one. I only got the main set and will probably be getting the rest on Amazon.

The main set comes with a good amount of options to play around with, I only wish they included a separate face you can swap out with this one.

His overall size and build is great! Everything from his small arms to his body proportions go well with the Super Mario designs in the most recent games.

Just as the front was great, so is his back. They really did something interesting here, that small portion on the back actually pops out and you can attach a stand there. (Included in other play set)

Looking at both his left and his right side the first I personally noticed was his large nose, it pops right out just the video game models. His small little stomach here also is shown perfectly.

Taking a look at his arm articulation I can't blame them for not making him as articulated as any other S.H. Figuarts figure, this is mainly due to the characters overall body size. He can pull off the basic jump move poses and everything like that even if it is a pain to set up since his body gets in the way.

His head articulation is weak here, it can barely be pulled up a tiny bit before the entire thing pops off. Same goes if you try to make him look sideways, it limits you to having him face forward but that's not much of a bad thing.

The articulation on the legs is significantly better than the arms here. You can easily get him into the most basic running poses, only thing that would be difficult is pulling off those Super Smash Bros poses. I think this is better than nothing.

Dashing towards the coin!

Mario is ready for battle‼

Mario is powered up!
Overall the S.H. Figuarts Super Mario is a great figure and a must own for any Super Mario collector out there. I always find myself messing around and playing with him. In terms of articulation they could have done a bit better but what we have now is still fantastic. I'm giving this figure a 8.5/10‼ One of my personal favorites at the moment.

Marvel Legends Infinite Series Black Cat Casual Review

Hello! Today I'll be doing another casual review on the Marvel Legends Infinite Series Black Cat.
I'm not going to lie, I may not be a fan of the figure but Hasbro did improve the female sculpt with her.
I put her off for too long, I'm honestly surprised I passed by her so many times
at Walmart with all the scalpers in Edinburg and McAllen.

Here you can see Black Cat standing at a good 6 inches.
Hasbro changed the female body and it looks pretty neat at a distance.
I know they will probably milk this body on the next releases but at least it
isn't as bad as it was before.

Black Cat wouldn't be complete without her whip!
It's a pretty neat accessory, even though I would have preferred that she came
with extra hands or at least a diamond.

Let's take a closer look at the top portion of this figure. First thing
to catch my attention was that they made her cleavage look pretty decent.
I was surprised by this! The paint on her face mask is off on the figure I got.
The way her head is positioned is the only way you'll get her, she cannot look up or
down without her head popping off. It's possible to move it sideways but it's a pain.

The bottom portion of her body looks pretty nice, it looks pretty proportional to
the rest of her body unlike the Black Widow figure from the Captain America wave that
came out.

The paint they used for her hair is great! I like how the blue portions
look with the white. I give it a thumbs up!

They even did the same thing with the paint on her hair on her boots which
was awesome! I also like how they made her behind and back a bit
more feminine so at a distance you can actually see that she is a female figure.

Alright~ Let's talk articulation now. I really dislike that they did
not make her double jointed here, that kills most of the poses I had in mind.
Also doesn't help that her hand isn't articulated either. That's a shame
because this limits her look and makes her look stiff overall in my opinion.

At least they gave her good articulation on her legs! I would have to say
that this is my favorite part of the entire figure. Black Cat is a character who
is always on her feet and if the would have gave her better articulation like they did
here she would have been a great figure.

Her high heels! You can't get her in any decent poses because of this!
I had to have her on the stand just to get her to stand straight. If you can
manage to get her to stand than a slight breeze or bump can knock her down.

Overall in my opinion she wasn't a very good figure. She had so much
promise and could have been an amazing figure but in terms of articulation and
paint mistakes she fell flat and doesn't deserve all the hype people have been giving her in my
local scene. I would give her a 4.5/10 as a figure.

Marvel Legends Infinity Series Boomerang Casual Review

Hello and welcome to my first "casual review"!
I'm not a professional reviewer but I'll do my best to review
figures I purchase and give my ratings to each and every one of them.
Today we'll be reviewing the Marvel Legends Infinity Series Boomerang.

He stands at 6 inches tall, at first I thought that he was going to be a
lame figure since I saw him at every Walmart I went to today. I was wrong!
He's a pretty solid figure.

Right away I thought of Cyclops when I saw his face! I know they are
two different characters but that was just the first thing that came to mind.
His paint job on his chest isn't perfect or great. Lots of little bumps here and there
distracts me from the entire figure. The ab crunch is pretty standard and nothing special.

In my opinion the backside looks pretty cool with the boomerangs on his back.
The entire design and color of this figures goes really well with him.

A closer look at his back and you can already see black spots on his back and waist line.
It's very obvious since it's white and will come out in pictures. I'm sure
everyone's figures have this on them in much worse places.

The articulation is pretty standard. The funny thing was that he can with
a trigger hand, it's pretty obvious that the hand is from a previous mold that came with a gun.
The leg articulation is also pretty standard but his boots REALLY remind me of a Saiyan's boots.

Overall he's a pretty neat figure. If I were to rate him I would give him a 8/10
He's a good figure, not the best or not the brightest of the wave but he's still solid.
I don't regret this purchase at all.

Thanks for reading this casual review! I'll be doing lots in the near future.
Stay tuned~♫

Flashback! South Texas Comic Con 2014‼

I went to the South Texas Comic Con and it was pretty neat! The vendors
room was my favorite since they didn't have any bootlegs anywhere~♪

I got to walk around with my girlfriend and I saw loads of cosplays, of course I took
pictures of my favorites. Here some of the great cosplays I saw.

How fancy! :o

Awesome troopers!

That Karas was amazing!

Even though the con was pretty neat it still needed lots of work. It seemed
like it was missing something to actually be considered a Comic Con. Still fun though
and I'm looking forward to the next one and to the next events~♫

The Simpson Minifgures

I bought 4 Simpsons Minifigures yesterday! They are pretty cool, I was
really impressed. I didn't get to use the bump code method since my phone
was already dying but I'm happy with what I got.

Abraham Jay-Jedediah "AbeSimpson (Grandpa)
I love the newspaper he comes with.
 Chief Clancy Wiggum
 "Put down those donuts!"
 Milhouse Mussolini Van Houten
Sure! What's a big sister for?
 Maggie Simpson
She's so adorable!

These minifigures are great! I highly recommend people get them now before people
start scalping them up at your local Walmart or even at Walgreen.
In other news~ I got another Tomoko Nendoroid Petit.
 Too cute!
